I help people move from overwhelmed, stuck, and frustrated… to clear, confident, and in control.
I do this by transforming annoying pain-points into simple, working solutions.
If you feel like losing your patience—I will give you a plan, so you can feel satisfied and empowered.

Lourens Breytenbach
Educator · Strategist · Problem-solver
I have spent more than three decades inside a South African high school — not observing it from the outside, but working within its constraints every day. Timetables, late arrivals, curriculum pressure, parent communication, resource management — these are not abstract problems. They are operational realities.
Over time, a pattern became clear. Most of the pressure in schools does not come from people. It comes from systems that were never properly designed.
So I began developing them.
Three Core Beliefs
Schools do not fail because of people — they fail because of unclear systems. When expectations, processes, and structures are precise, behaviour stabilises naturally.
Technology should reduce cognitive load, not add to it. Every tool must simplify decisions, not create more dashboards, noise, or dependency.
Sustainable change comes from embedded systems, not once-off interventions. If it cannot run consistently without constant effort, it is not a solution.
Products developed to solve real problems.
Each one started with a friction point that was being ignored. Each one ended with infrastructure that works without constant attention.
PrepMergency
The emergency button every teacher needs. A complete, ready-to-teach classroom activity in under 60 seconds — with AI lesson generation, 30 offline activities, and a full suite of classroom tools.
Any teacher, any classroom, any moment — covered. No preparation required.
PleasedPay
A structured payment system designed to eliminate confusion around school finances, communication, and accountability. It replaces fragmented payment processes with a single, clear source of truth.
Parents gain clarity and confidence, while schools reduce administrative strain and follow-ups.
ShiftGlitch
A cyberpunk study-methods OS for teenagers — built on cognitive science, not the vibe. Spaced repetition, active recall, and deliberate practice, packaged into tools students actually want to use.
Teenagers move from passive rereading to evidence-based study habits — with a rank system that rewards consistent behaviour, not purchases.
LTSM Systems
A fully organised approach to Learning and Teaching Support Material management — from procurement to tracking and accountability. It removes inefficiencies and ensures compliance without constant manual oversight.
Schools operate with order and transparency, reducing losses, delays, and administrative chaos.
Appventurous
A community platform for AI app builders — with an app showcase, template marketplace, bounty board, leaderboard, and The Gauntlet: a 15-step AI-guided journey that takes a raw idea to a pitch-ready concept.
Creators validate their ideas before developing them, find paying users, earn from bounties and templates, and compete on a public leaderboard.
Stealth Launchpad
A step-by-step marketing execution system for solo creators and business owners. Get real buyers without social media, cold outreach, or SEO — using free platforms your buyers are already on.
Solo creators validate their offer with zero ad spend in Phase 1, then scale what's working with a structured paid advertising framework in Phase 2.
Designed For Everyone In The System
For Learners
School can feel overwhelming — too many subjects, too many deadlines, and no clear system to manage it all. Most learners are not struggling with ability, but with structure.
- •Turn scattered tasks into clear, manageable workflows
- •Reduce last-minute stress through simple planning systems
- •Develop independence without relying on constant reminders
For Parents
Supporting a high-school learner often feels uncertain. You want to help, but the system is unclear, communication is inconsistent, and pressure builds quickly.
- •Clear visibility into your child's academic world
- •Reduced conflict through structured expectations
- •Simple systems that support, not overwhelm, your involvement
For Teachers
Teaching has become increasingly complex — not because of the subject, but because of the systems surrounding it. Administrative load reduces your ability to focus on what matters.
- •Streamlined processes that reduce repetitive admin
- •Clear structures that support consistent learner behaviour
- •Tools that integrate into your workflow without adding complexity
Behind every system is a decision. Here's how I make them.
Developing systems is not about finding clever solutions. It is about being precise about the problem first. I document, prototype, and iterate — not because it is fashionable, but because half-developed systems cause more chaos than no system at all.
Every tool I develop starts with a constraint. What is the actual friction? Where does the breakdown happen? What would make this run without me?
Initiation Through Creation
"The best systems are not invented. They are extracted from lived experience, refined through constraint, and built to outlast the person who made them."
I believe that schools — and the people in them — deserve infrastructure designed with the same care and precision as the best software products. Not dashboards and reports. Actual systems that reduce decisions, remove bottlenecks, and create space for teaching, learning, and growing.
This is what I do. This is why it lasts.
